Did you like it? Speaking of animal, have you noticed that each column of Treasure Box is designed with frog and rabbit pattern on the wall? This design is called "Cho-jyu-giga" (= Birds and Beasts Caricature), based on a picture scroll made in the 12th century which is a satire of real life with a personification by frog, rabbit, monkey, fox, etc. and painted with black-and-white ink. The author is unkown and desiganated as a national treasure. The wall is one of famous scene that frog and rabbit wrestle sumo. After New Year's holiday passed, our web site have renewed to winter version.
