And, a long awaited "Jiyuugaoka Sweets Forest", which is gathering of popular cake shops has opened in Tokyo last November, where we can sample limited cakes, marvel at the world famous pattissier's work and make a delectable round of several confectioneries. Lured to such sweet incentives, roughly 260,000 people visit the premise in a month. Speaking of cakes, an old-fashioned Japanese man would likely say "I don't eat sweets because I'm a man!" Times have changed. Now we often see some pages dedicated to introducing tasty cakes and cake shops even in a men's magazine. Gentlemen, fret no longer, now you are openly welcome to proclaim "I love sweets!" and "I love cakes!" without shame. Anyhow, one would be pleased to know that a sweet and peaceful bliss is only 1 coin (JPY500=US$4.5) while choosing a great tasting work of art that melts in your mouth.
