| *************************************************** "Treasure Box" - Discovery of Japan <Vol.17> *************************************************** Web Site: http://www.jpn-miyabi.com Date: February 27, 2004 A few days ago, I took a walk on an avenue of cherry trees extended to 1.5 miles long on the way from shopping, and was surprised to see many people who were enjoying jogging and walking. To be honest, I used to run for exercise on the same avenue several years ago. Although it was very hard to run even only 3 miles at first, once I suddenly felt comfortable and wanted to run more! That moment was so happy for me. Meanwhile, I noticed that I could come to peace while concentrating on my jogging. While I am jogging, I can feel the turning of the seasons, a good idea for my work struck me, etc. What a good exercise for my mentality and health, and above all, nothing is in vain! Although I gave up after one more year, I'm thinking of a come back.
