"Okonomiyaki"

Very easy and tasty recipe, OKONOMIYAKI!
This is only mixing ingredients and cooking. You can use various ingredients whatever you like, such as seafood, cheese, etc.
Ingredients (for 4 servings)
50g sliced cabbage, 80g sliced pork, 8 pieces shrimp, 20g chopped NEGI, salt, salad oil, OTAFUKU OKONOMIYAKI SAUCE, AONORI POWDER (dried sea weed), KATSUOBUSHI (dried bonito powder), BENISHOGA (Red pickled ginger)
BATTER 4 eggs, 1+1/2 cups flour, 1 cup DASHI-JIRU

Preparation
SHRIMP

Remove vein and shell from body.
Cut into 2-3 cm length.
PORK Cut into 2-3cm size.
BATTER 1) Mix flour, egg, dashi-jiru, BENISHOGA, and salt in a bowl. (A)

2) Add sliced cabbage, shrimp, pork and chopped NEGI in (A), and mix them.

3) Divide them into quarters and put each in a cup (B)


Making OKONOMIYAKI
1) Preheat a griddle to 200 °C.
2) Spread oil on a griddle and pour (B)
into circular shape.
3) Cook it until browned and became slightly hard.
4) Flip over with a spatula and cook unitl lightly borwned on second side as well.
5) Turn it again and spread OTAFUKU OKONOMIYAKI SAUCE evenly.
6) Sprinkle AONORI powder, KATSUOBUSHI and BENISHOGA if you like.
7) Cut into quarters and serve. If you make small circle, you can eat itself.


Please stick a chopstick into OKONOMIYAKI to make sure if it cooked.
If there is no liquid on chopstick, it's OK sign.

<OKONOMIYAKI POWDER>
If you wish to take a shortcut, OKONOMIYAKI POWDER will help you. Mix cabbage, egg and water with OKONOMIYAKI POWDER and cook. Of course, add your favorite ingredients into them, it becomes more tasty.

<OTAFUKU OKONOMIYAKI SAUCE>
As OKONOMIYAKI's sauce, Worcester sauce is also available, but "OTAFUKU OKONOMIYAKI SAUCE" is not much
sour and very popular.
(Right one is OTAFUKU SAUCE)
