"Pumpkin Pudding"

What are you going to prepare for Halloween? I'd like to introduce the pumpkin desert this time. It's so easy to make by using pudding mix powder.
Cool it, and you may enjoy mellow touch.



Japanese

Ingredients (for 4 servings)
150g (1/8 or 1/10 cut) pumpkin
60g pudding mix powder
400ml milk
1 beaten egg yolk



1 cup = 200cc / 1tbsp = 15cc / 1 teaspoon = 5cc

RECIPE
Preparation
1. Put pumpkin into a microwave for 4 minutes.
2. Peel the skin, mash and strain.
* Keep the peel to use for garnish.
* Canned pumpkin puree is available.



Making Pudding
1. Pour milk, beaten egg yolk and pudding mix powder
in a pot, and mix them.

2. Put the pot on the middle heat -
(A).
Be careful not to scorch.

3. Before boiling, turn down the heat. Strain the pumpkin out, add about 5 tbsp of
(A) to it and melt until
smooth. -
(B)

4. Put
(B) in (A) and mix.

5. Remove the pot from the heat and pour liquid (A) into each pudding cup.

6. Take off the heat of cups and cool them over 1 hour in a refrigerator.

Finishing
1. Cut the pumpkin's peel as your favorite form.
2. Melt the attached caramel powder with 1 tbsp water.
3. Pour caramel and garnish pumpkin peel on the pudding.

When you add strained pumpkin to (A), mix slowly so as not to be lumpy.
