"Clam Chowder"

To take the rich flavor out, please cook bacon and onions well.

Ingredients for 4 servings
5 slices bacon, 1 onion, 300g raw clams (with shell)
2 potatoes, 50g string beans, 2 cups milk
1/2 cup fresh cream, salt and white pepper as needed

* If you do not have raw clams, frozen one is available.




1 cup = 200cc / 1tbsp = 15cc / 1 teaspoon = 5cc

RECIPE

Preparation
Bacon: Cut into 2 cm width
Onion : Cut fine
Potato: Cut 2 cm square, soak them in the water and drain.
String beans: Boil and cut into 2 cm width
Calm : To get rid of dust, soak calm in salt water like sea water

Cook
1. Put clams in boiled water until opening the shells.
Pour clams into a basket to drain.
* Please keep the above boiled water.

2. Spread salad oil in a pot, sauté bacon and onions.

3. Add (A), potatoes and milk in the pot, put the lid on the pot and stew at the low heat for 20 minutes.

4. Add fresh cream and clams season with salt and white pepper and heat at the low heat for 5 minutes.

5. Add string beans.
