Japanese

RESTAURANT "ITOHAN" <030>
Summer in Japan is very hot and humid, and we would find any way to escape from Tokyo's humid concrete "jungle". Drinking chilled Sake with plain and healthy Japanese food in air-conditioned space is one of the splendid ways to revive from a tired day of work. Japanese foods and style of life in summer are full of wisdom to overcome the humidity of Japan, we can feel cool, and it's cool.
The Japanese style dinning bar "Itohan" is close to Tokyo station, where we can forget the crowd and humidity of Tokyo. It's nice, cozy and perfectly recommendable dinning bar. In "Itohan" there are two types of tables, one is a counter table, unique with its' enclosure by natural trees. And another is Japanese style table, where feet can be placed lower than floor so we can sit comfortably, not having to sit upright. The special dish of this dinning bar is Tempura, so when you want to eat hot Tempura the moment it is fried out of the pot, you may need to reserve the counter table. And when you want to spend relaxed time with your companies privately, you may reserve the Japanese style table. The advantage of this dinning bar is the wide spacing between each seating. Such is a luxury rarely seen in Yaesu, one of the most expensive property areas. It does also contribute to have a cooler breathing space for a better dining experience.
The dishes of this dinning bar are typical Japanese foods like Tempura or Sashimi or Tofu...etc. They purchase Tofu directly from famous Tofu shop in Kyoto, "Fujino." An irrefutable proof that the food materials of this dinning bar are selected carefully within the framework of highest quality standards. With Tofu, they offer us not only the famous Fujino's Tofu but also their original special Tofu of the day. Special Tofu is made from green soybeans or black beans, and other unique materials. These special bean curds are very soft and silky, their melt-in-your-mouth sensation defying your any old average expectations for a Tofu. Another recommendable dish is deep-fried sliced cuttlefish. The soft and thin strips of sun-dried cuttlefish are sliced, deep-fried and seasoned lightly, very addictive in nature. These dishes suit Japanese drinks like Sake or Sho-chu, but they also suit wine as well. Tofu or Sashimi, for example, may best accompanied by a well-chilled white wine, while deep-fried dishes would call for a rich and heavier red wine. As the staffs are very kind, you will receive an appropriate advice and recommendation for any dishes.
"Itohan" is such a cozy dinning bar that it may well become your favorite oasis amidst the humid Tokyo jungle.
