"Gyudon" (Rice with beef topping)


Have you tried Gyudon?
If NO, pleae try it!! Gyudon will satisfy you!
As you eat, please pour full of broth on rice with
beef topping.

Ingredients (for 2 servings)
4 cups of hot cooked rice

200g thinly sliced beef, 1 onion, 1tbsp salad oil, 2 tbsp white wine
<Soup>
1 cup of dashi jiru, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp sugar,
1 tbsp mirin (sweet sake for seasoning)

<Topping>
Benishoga (red ginger) as needed


RECIPE

How to cook rice
Please refer to the recipe of Rice Ball.

Preparation

1. Cut beef into bite-sized pieces and soak them in white wine for 10 minutes.
2. Slice onion thinly about 5mm width.












Cook

1. Put soy sauce, sugar and mirin in a pan, and boil up.

2. Add splice beef in the pan and boil for 2-3 minutes.

3. Add onion slices and dashi soup in the pan,
and boil down for 5 minutes.
(Do not forget putting on the lid.)

4. Stir and boil another 5 minutes.



Serving

1. Serve cooked rice in a deep rice bowl and put the beef topping on the top of rice.
2. If you would like, place benishoga (red ginger) on the top.

Strong taste beef topping is better.
