"Nasu no Agebitashi (Eggplant Appetizer)"


@Today's recipe is one of popular home made dishes, "Nasu no Agebitashi", which must stimulate your appetite!

Ingredienti for 2 servings)@
4 Japanese eggplants
4 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp vinegar
Grated ginger and garlic as needed

tbsp = tablespoon


RECIPE

Making sauce

Mix together soy sauce, mirin, grated ginger and garlic in a bowl.(A)

Fry eggplant

1. Cut eggplant into halves lengthway, and make a reticular cut in eggplant skin.
Drain them well.

2. Fry eggplants skin at 160° and drain quickly.

3. Soak fried eggplants in sauce(A).
Cool them in the refrigerator.
